- Appetite regulation
- Amylin signaling
- Combination obesity pharmacology
Dosing Structure
Dose
250–500 mcg 3x weekly (some studies up to 4.5mg)
Frequency
8-12 weeks
Notes
1x Weekly titration: Week 1-4: 0.25mg | Week 5-8: 0.5mg | Week 9-12: 1mg | Week 13-16: 1.7mg | Week 17+: 2.4mg. *Some studies go as high as 4.5mg per dose (2.25mg twice weekly) after 21 weeks. 2x Weekly: use approximately half the 1x weekly dose each injection. Start as low as possible to reduce side effects. Shared as a GLP-1; start as low as possible and be cautious of increased risk of side effects (GI and lethargy). Inject: Abdomen, thigh, or upper arm (rotate weekly). Preferably evening, with or without food. Typically follows a weekly titration schedule.
